- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Mix the wet ingredients: In a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, combine Dignity Coconuts’ raw coconut oil and both sugars. Mix until well combined, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add vanilla and egg: Incorporate the vanilla extract and egg into the mixture, ensuring everything is well combined. Scrape the sides of the bowl as needed.
- Prepare the dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture in two parts, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips: Gently fold the chocolate chips into the dough.
