Salvador is a devoted husband and father of five — two boys and three girls. Most of his children have already finished college and senior high school, while his youngest is still in grade school.
Before joining Dignity, Salvador worked as a sewer in Manila, then later returned home to become a fisherman. Life was difficult back then; he recalls nights out at sea, braving strong waves and even a frightening encounter when their boat was hit by an illegal fishing vessel.
Today, Salvador serves as a Ground Maintenance Line Leader at Dignity. Through his hard work, he’s been able to provide for his family and see his children reach their dreams. He also hopes to help his siblings who still have very little in life.
Looking back, Salvador is filled with gratitude. “Since working at Dignity,” he says, “I can now give my family a better life.”
