For Rachel, everything she does is for her children. Life hasn’t been easy. Growing up in a large family of eight siblings — two of whom have passed away — Rachel has faced many trials. But through faith and perseverance, her family has endured.
Before joining Dignity, Rachel worked as a domestic helper in Manila. The hardest part was being away from her children, missing the simple moments of family life. When she started working at Dignity, she was finally able to come home — and stay close to the people she loves most.
Now, she works in the packaging area, carefully cleaning the lids to help ensure every product meets Dignity’s standards. Her hope is that her children will grow up with faith in God and finish their studies.
“Working at Dignity helps meet my family’s daily needs,” she says with gratitude. “Thank you, Dignity!” For Rachel, being able to work and be with her family again is the greatest blessing of all.
