Life hasn’t been easy for Nicanor, but he’s learned to keep going no matter what. He’s a father of two daughters from his first wife who passed away after a long illness. Losing her was one of the hardest things he’s ever faced, but his daughters gave him the strength to stand up again.
Nicanor has worked many jobs — in factories, malls, even as a security guard — always doing what he could to provide for his family. Now at Dignity, Nicanor works as a Temperature Control Unit operator. Every day, he makes sure the machine is clean and in good condition before heading home. It may sound like a simple task, but to him, it’s a way to show diligence and care.
His dream is simple: for his children to finish their studies and build better lives. “I just want them to have good futures,” he says.
Outside of work, Nicanor still finds ways to help others — giving what little he can to those in need. He also feels a small sense of joy and freedom whenever he rides his motorcycle to work.
