Marites describes herself as cheerful, though she admits there are days she feels sad. She’s used to a simple life — helping her husband on the farm and doing housework. She wasn’t used to being around many people, but that changed when she joined Dignity.
Now part of the Quality Control team, Marites checks hygiene, operations, and temperatures to make sure the virgin coconut oil meets high standards. She takes her work seriously, knowing that what she does helps maintain the company’s quality standards.
Her dream is simple — for her children to finish school and have better lives. “I want to help my family be strong,” she says, “so they can face life’s challenges while reaching their dreams.”
Since working at Dignity, life has gotten a little better. Marites feels more secure, trusting that with hard work and God’s help, there will always be something to look forward to in the days ahead.
