Glysa lives a simple happy life together with her family. She enjoys spending time with them through the ups and downs. If there are misunderstandings within the family, she’s never one to back down and always finds ways to sort things out.
She desires to help out her parents financially and to help provide for the family. She dreams of starting her own small neighborhood convenience store and hopes to make enough to grow the business. She wants to build a house for her family.
She used to feel that her dreams were out of reach. She knew that she needed to save up, but she had a hard time finding work opportunities. She felt that because she had no prior experience and had little confidence in herself, finding a job would be difficult, but she still pushed through.
Around the time she was job hunting, her family was facing difficulties at home. Her parents had little to provide for them, and they had little to nothing to eat most days. Still, Glysa never gave up and continued to apply for work.
Her persistence paid off quickly, as she landed her first job. She was hired at Dignity as a part of the production team. Now, not only is she able to help out with her family, but she is also able to save up for her dreams.
Glysa shared, “I am proud that I am able to help my parents. I have also realized that I can do all things even if they are hard. It makes me happy to know I can help my family.”
