Evangeline describes herself as understanding, good, and helpful — qualities that shine through in everything she does.
She is married to a fisherman and a loving mother to four children — three girls and one boy — all still in school. Before joining Dignity, she stayed home and sold rice cakes to help support her family.
Today, Evangeline works in packaging, ensuring that every product leaving Dignity is labeled with care — from UPC stickers to lot codes and dates. Her attention to detail reflects the pride she takes in her work.
Her greatest hope is for her children to finish their studies and live happy, stable lives.
Since working at Dignity, Evangeline’s life has changed for the better. She can now help her husband provide for their family, and even afford small comforts — like a motorcycle that makes daily life easier.
“I’m so thankful to Dignity,” she says with a smile. “Now, my family is happy and our life is better.”
