Eddie is a shy man who prefers to stay busy, often finding peace in planting and simple work. Before joining Dignity, he made his living as a fisherman, doing his best to provide for his loved ones.
His dream is to lift his family out of poverty and live a quiet, contented life. Life hasn’t always been kind — he once faced rejection from the family of the woman he loved because he was poor. Instead of anger, he chose prayer. “I just prayed to God,” he says softly.
Now, working at Dignity has changed Eddie’s life. It’s given him not just steady work, but also dignity and hope.
