Meet Augusto.
He is a good husband to Michelle and a good father to his three kids. When asked about what he dreams of for himself, he shares his dreams for his family. That is how much he cares for and looks after them.
He used to dream of going to a foreign country where he could earn enough income to provide for his family and send them to school. He never went. Instead he found a job in Manila, hours away and far from his family. He realized just how hard it was to be separated from them, and how hard it was for his wife to shoulder the responsibility of taking care of the children by herself. He felt stuck because there simply was not enough work locally to keep him near his loved ones.
When he heard of Dignity, he immediately decided to return to his family and apply for a job. At Dignity, Augusto works in maintenance, repairing broken items and machines. He was finally home!
When it was time for the arrival of their baby, Augusto was so grateful to be working nearby because their newborn baby had a high fever. He could not imagine how difficult it would have been if he was still working far from home. Augusto is so thankful that he found a company where his skills are needed, he can be proud of his work, and always be near his family.
