It's Thanksgiving and we know that most, if not all of you, will have the usual Thanksgiving dinner you've been having for years. Why not try something new this time? Doesn't mean that you have to get rid of traditions such as roasted turkey and granny's turkey stuffing. These are staples that have been passed on from generation to generation. Thanksgiving won't be the same without them. But having something new might make this year's Thanksgiving a little bit more memorable.
Here's a roasted salmon recipe* we got that has a twist. Salmon is already healthy as it is, but let's make it even by for you by roasting it in coconut oil, shall we? It's so easy to prepare too!
Ingredients:
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400 F
- Place salmon pieces, skin side down, onto a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet.
- Brush each piece with melted coconut oil and season with salt, pepper and paprika.
- Roast for 10 minutes.
- Remove salmon from the oven and cover with aluminum foil.
- Allow it to rest for 5-10 minutes.
Serve this along with your favorite Thanksgiving dinner staples and enjoy it with your loved ones.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
